PROJECT OVERVIEW

The new iFly indoor skydiving facility has generated quite the buzz. An international phenomenon, indoor skydiving is the latest addition to Hurst’s growing entertainment district, located just off of Northeast Loop 820. The project was approved by Hurst City Council in early January with a projected completion date in the early fall, 2016. With such a tight schedule for construction, the project has required a great deal of planning and coordination with our suppliers and with the other contractors on the job.
Cheyenne Construction applied superior skills and expertise to fill the following requirements:
  • Cast-in-place (CIP) tilt wall panels for the Return Air Tower Structure
  • 26’ below-ground retaining walls and elevated CIP slab were formed up together to allow for a single pour using DOKA forming systems
